Safe load for a Cimarron .44spl

Hi,

Can a Cimarron handle the old Elmer Keith load of 250gr and 17gr 2400?

That seems a tad stiff, but I don't know much about the Cimarron.

Are there any safe loads in that gun that can push a 255gr bullet at 1000fps?

Please help.
