Hello,
Our Mexican university's mascot is the cimarron, or rocky mountain bighorn sheep. We have a very active program of international cooperation and excange, so...there is a program, just beginning, called "Programa de Cimmarrones de Competencias Internacionales," which in Spanish sounds fine, but in English!!!! The problem is that we can't find just one word to translate "Cimarron", and even we were to say "Bighorns International", it sounds like we are promoting some green nature program involving the conservation of animals. Oh, please, can somebody come up with something better? If we can't find a better, less wordy translation, we may have to change the name of the program in Spanish so it will sound nice in both languages.
